Oklahoma Mad as Hell :
Give Common Core Back!

That's right. MORE Federal Involvement not less.

Oklahoma State Board of Education and thousands of parents and students want Common Core back in their schools. In fact, they are keeping Common Core until after the lawsuit they have filed against the state government. After seeing what happened to Nebraska, who could blame them? But the real reason is because Common Core Works!

No more lies and fake weeping mothers. No more false Experts found in an alley some place by the Tea Party. Common Core Works! Don't let them take it from your kid.

Restore Oklahoma Public Education (R.O.P.E.) is committed to educating tax-paying citizens and parent stakeholders on the ways in which the methods and philosophies used in public education today affect them. From budgetary allotments to curricula, ROPE attempts to make Oklahomans aware of how every dollar spent and every idea taught can actively influence the future voters enrolled in Oklahoma Public Education today.

No End Planned for Ferguson Demonstrators

The man running the demonstrators in Ferguson -- or at least 16k+ of them is Deray McKesson @deray.

I was working with him to define goals and negotiations. It's been something like 150 days, and he's not even talking to anyone. So I opened a dialog to see if I could help. But I'm not black enough, or I don't understand... or that's what he was saying. Today he tells me the real reason is that he is an anarchist. He's not going to end it. He's just going to push it forward as far as he can.

Over the last week he has been collecting donations for financing to August. He's not going to stop... To Infinity and beyond...

Those people out there demonstrating think they are doing something for a reason... They're not. They're just meat on the street. He's even started sending phrases that start with "Blessed are those..."

If you have reporters you know... maybe  you could send this to them. Those people should at least be told who they are following, and why.

Perspective is So Important - Rape

Last year the Dept of Justice, using data that was gathered by the FBI and from data gathered by direct polling, came up with a report comparing the enrolled college student with non-students, regarding rape. The the result was a graph in the report which seems to show that students currently going to college on University campus were safer from the threat of rape than those who were non-students of the same age group. Here is the the graph.

Agent Carter -- Yes!

It's 1946 and peace has dealt Peggy a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy finds herself stuck doing administrative work when she would rather be back out in the field; putting her vast skills into play and taking down the bad guys.  But she is also trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life, Steve Rogers – aka Captain America.

Too Funny -- Wonder If We Can Find out The Origin

Working on my research tonight for the latest #HeForShe project and digging through Hate Crime reports. Apparently as I reposted from their site in another article the amount of hate crimes is down from last year. I also noticed that the amount from Black to White and White to Black was wonderfully low. Keep in mind that the number is from those crimes which were deemed "Hate" crimes, which has a specific and precise legal definition.

So I'm doing my info gathering and building my fusion databases and creating my spiders and my eye catches it just as I'm closing the window.

It is after the Hate Crime Statistics Act, at the bottom I made it easy to see. We need to find out Who is so Homophobic that the FBI was compelled to have that message -- apparently for there own safety, or to let others know they were not at risk.

Either way, it is funny as hell.

Latest Hate Crime Statistics
Annual Report Shows Slight Decrease

The FBI has just released its hate crime statistics report for 2012, and the numbers show that we as a nation still have a way to go toward alleviating these crimes that have such a devastating impact on communities.
For the 2012 time frame, law enforcement agencies reported 5,796 hate crime incidents involving 6,718 offenses, down from 2011 figures of 6,222 incidents involving 7,254 offenses. Also during 2012, there were 7,164 hate crime victims reported (which include individuals, businesses, institutions, and society as a whole), down from 7,713 in 2011.
The data contained in Hate Crime Statistics, 2012 is a subset of the information that law enforcement submits to the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program. The full hate crime report can be viewed on our website, but here are a few highlights:
